Printing your own designs
Our printers rely on good quality source artwork to ensure that your transfer prints look exactly how you want them. Our studio can create this artwork for you from scratch, copy a logo from a business card or photocopy, or we can use your own artwork to produce the transfers.
By sending us ready-to-use digital artwork files you can keep your costs down and speed up the turnaround of your order.

I have no artwork and want you to create a design for me
I only have a visual (eg print or photocopy of the finished design)
I already have a computer file of the design

here are some frequently asked questions. If you have any other queries concerning artwork, please phone or e-mail the studio for help.
Can I e-mail the artwork to you?
yes, you can e-mail artwork files directly to the studio by clicking the link on the left.
Can I ISDN the file to you?
No, we do not have this facility. You must send computer files via e-mail, or on disk.
What sort of disk can I send you?
We can open files from CD's, DVD's, pen drives, 100mb ZIP disks and floppy disks.
If I send a visual, how will I know if it has been re-created accurately?
Before production we will send you an artwork approval form alongside a visual showing you any modifications we have had to apply to the design. This will give you an opportunity to point out any errors prior to production.
What if I want exact colours?
Please note that although we will try and match as close to your colours as we can, exact matches are not always possible. There are many factors involved which will determine the final colour result, including the colour of the fabric to which the transfer is being applied. Accurate colour requirements should be supplied as Uncoated Pantone references, otherwise we will choose the colour shades ourselves, based on any information you have provided us with.
What are your artwork charges?
You will be told of any artwork charges prior to production. If you provide us with digital artwork you may be able to reduce your costs, or avoid them altogether. Here is a general guide -
V-TRANS transfers - there is a £10 set-up cost which covers weeding for ready-to-use digital artwork or basic text only prints where we set the text ourselves without specific instructions. Any additional time spent on your design will incur an additional fee.
ALL OTHER TRANSFERS - There is no artwork fee for basic text only jobs or ready-to-use digital artwork. Charges begin according to time spent, starting from £15.
